Birth Preparation Series

Weekend Intensive

Feel informed. Feel confident. Feel ready for birth.

Birth is more than a medical event - it's one of life's biggest transitions.

Whether you're expecting your first baby or preparing to welcome another, our Birth Preparation Series: Weekend Intensive is designed to help you approach labor with confidence, knowledge, and a sense of calm.

Designed for parents who want more than a traditional childbirth class, this interactive, in-person series combines evidence-based education with meaningful discussion, experiential learning, and a supportive community of expectant families.

Led by experienced birth and postpartum doula Robin Dini, you'll gain a deeper understanding of how labor unfolds, what your options are, and how to make informed decisions throughout the birth process. More importantly, you'll leave feeling emotionally, mentally, and physically prepared for birth.

Why Choose the Weekend Intensive?

Designed for busy expectant parents, this format provides comprehensive childbirth education over two Saturday mornings, making it easier to prepare for birth without committing to a multi-week series.

In a warm, small-group setting, you'll have plenty of time to ask questions, connect with other expectant families, and build confidence alongside your partner.

What You'll Learn

What Makes This Class Different?

Most childbirth classes focus on what happens during labor.

This series also focuses on how you'll experience it.

Rather than sitting through a lecture, you'll participate in thoughtful discussions, interactive activities, and practical exercises designed to help you understand not only the mechanics of birth, but also the emotional and mental journey that comes with it.

With a small group of expectant families, you'll have plenty of time to ask questions, connect with others, and learn in a warm, welcoming environment.

You'll leave not only knowing what to expect—but trusting yourself to navigate birth with confidence.

Meet Robin

Woman. Mother. Doula. Robin (she/her) is a mother of three children and her life forever changed the moment she found out she was pregnant for the first time.

Robin loves all aspects of being a doula and supporting clients through pregnancy and preparing for labor.  She has found a niche in prenatal and birth support with the addition of birth photography.  It is an incredible honor to share her clients' birth story through photographs and document their first chapter of their child's life on earth.

She also enjoys supporting her clients when they are home with their baby for the first night postpartum. Several of her birth clients have hired her to stay overnight during those first days at home to help them get the sleep they need by caring for baby and helping set up the essential supplies to care for their newborn.

Since she was a young child, she has always felt the desire to care for others. Robin created Within Motherhood after answering the call to support women on their journey into motherhood.
