Newborn Feeding 101:
What Every Parent Should Know Before Baby Arrives
Feeling unsure about how feeding your baby will actually work?
This warm and practical prenatal class will prepare you for the first days and weeks of feeding your newborn - whether you plan to breastfeed, pump, bottle-feed, use formula, or combine methods.
Led by International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Michelle Chirby, you’ll learn what’s normal, what’s challenging, and how to feel confident responding to your baby’s needs.

what feeding looks like in the first hours after birth
how to know if your baby is getting enough milk
how to recognize hunger cues and normal feeding patterns
simple latch and positioning tips
what to expect with milk supply and cluster feeding
when pumping or bottles may be helpful
how partners can support feeding
what to do when feeding doesn’t go as planned
Class Format:
This interactive 2-hour session includes practical demonstrations, opportunities for Q&A, and resources for additional support.
