Reconnect: A Gentle Postpartum Pelvic Floor Class

Tuesdays | 11:15 AM-12:00 PM

Reconnect with your body in a slow, supportive 45-minute class designed specifically for postpartum recovery.

Held indoors on the mat, Reconnect focuses on breathwork, gentle activation, mobility, and body awareness rather than traditional exercise. Whether you're just beginning to reconnect with your body after birth or are further along in your postpartum journey, this class offers a gentle place to start.

Each class blends diaphragmatic breathing, pelvic floor and deep core reconnection, and gentle mobility to support your body as it heals and rebuilds coordination from the inside out.

What to expect:

  • Breath-led warm-up to settle the nervous system and connect your breath to your pelvic floor

  • Guided pelvic floor and transverse abdominis activation, with an emphasis on both contraction and relaxation

  • Gentle mat-based movement to rebuild core and pelvic floor coordination

  • Hip and low-back mobility

  • Restorative cool-down and relaxation

Babies are welcome! Bring your baby along or come on your own — whatever feels best for you. Mats are provided.

This class is intentionally gentler than a traditional postpartum fitness class. If you have specific postpartum complications, pain, or concerns about returning to movement, please check with your healthcare provider.

Meet Janelle

Dr. Janelle Kleiner, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist and pelvic health specialist who founded Kinected Family Wellness, where she helps women and families recover from chronic pain, postpartum changes, and pelvic floor dysfunction using a root-cause, whole-body approach. Before opening her own practice, she spent years treating both pediatric and adult patients in a pelvic floor clinic. As a mom of four, she's lived the postpartum recovery process herself, and she brings that personal understanding — along with her clinical training — into every class she leads.
